Let’s Get Married with Southern Bride Magazine

My loves! I finally put my thoughts together to chat with you about my trip to Islamorada, FL. And guess what!? I was the Brand Ambassador and the face of Southern Bride Magazine!! It’s always fun to be the bride and try on different styles of wedding dresses (getting ideas for my own wedding one day hopefully.) What? A girl can dream, can’t she? There were high-low styles, A-lines, fit and flares, trumpets, puffy sleeves, and POCKETS!

I don’t know what it is about pockets, but brides love them! While trying on these dresses, and of course thinking The Kaye Cox Way, I had the bright idea of not wearing curls or straight hair… and just wearing my cornrows. It was so different and I felt beyond beautiful! Aside from being the model my favorite part about this experience was that they allowed me to be free with my suggested vision and work with some amazing new people! Not to mention, I had my good friend Andrew Millar on board to capture some beautiful BTS.
